KANYAMA COMPOUND - LUSAKA

We are currently educating 558 orphans. We are desperately in need of a new classroom as our teachers are so stretched. We have 3 children sharing a desk. The children are so eager to learn and so respectful, that 3 per desk would be otherwise impossible. We are also providing job skill training, such as carpentry, welding, sewing and computer instruction, using all the woderful tools donated in December 08.

Praise God for His faithfulness we now have water at Missions of Hope - Mr. & Mrs. Howard Watson, we THANK YOU, our children say "zi como" (thank you)!!!!!!!

We have two new church plants, Kanyama West (Pastor Nguni) and Siancha (Pastor Ernest)

GWEMBE VALLEY

Without the conveniences found in the city, Gwembe has the disadvantage of being almost totally without cell phone coverage, electricity, etc. the advantage is Lake Kariba(which separates Zambia/Zimbabwe). We are looking at kapinta fishing to sustain the missions/churches being planted in  Sinazongwe, Sinanjolla, Sinanzeze . The kind of boat used for kapinta fishing has two motors and costs right at $4,000.  Kapinta are small fish, sun-dried, and provide protein. There is a tremendous need to strengthen the church in all of Gwembe Valley. Bibles are desperately needed, pastors encouraged . There is little work, no tythes and it is incredibly difficult for a pastor to keep it together. Our prayers are to equip these faithful pastors with the means to do their job. Transportation is a big concern there, and bicycles are a must for them.  How far can a man walk in a day, about the Fathers Business?

MONZE

With a well, we will able to irrigate the farm, enabling us to grow food year around. The need is high in this area, as the poverty is so great and hunger prevails most of the year. We have the 1965 Massey Ferguson tractor( a BLESSING)  and with water, not having to depend solely on rain, the farm can feed many people, and provide many jobs.

We are so blessed here at home. Consider that the cost of one trip to starbucks would feed one African for a week. One pizza would feed an entire family for two weeks.

We have seen a new church birthed at the village by our farm. Pastor GK and Debra Monze hold the meetings on Friday as they have services at Crown on Sundays.

Praise God for his goodness and many, many THANK YOU'S to Bill Dwinell for his donation of a well at the farm.
Our dear brother from Neuman, CA has provided us with the means to build our "chigayo" (grain-grinder) this will relieve us of a great hardship and also provide a means of helping many of the rural area. Joe Freitas- Go Bless You!!

MTMI is so greatful to all of you that have stood with us with your prayers your support and your encouragement. We are all together "about the Fathers' business". Joining with our African brothers and sisters in Christ, we are literally taking back territory that belongs to Christ Jesus. There's no way whatsoever MTMI could take one step forward without you. The children, the widows and these ministry teams say a big, hearty THANK YOU!!!
