BARBARA LUND
Missions are written on my heart and Africa is written in permanent ink!I cannot imagine my life having not known the joy of working with Christ in Zambia. My husband John finished his race 3 1/2 years ago and is so missed, but his encouragement and love left a legacy not soon forgotten.A mother (sons, Tom. Kevin and daughter DeeAnn) made me a happy grandma of Lesa, Thomas, Kylee, Aubrey and Brayden.
When in the US, I use my time speaking to churches, schools, and just anyone that will stand still - bringing an awareness of the needs in Africa is always foremost on my heart.
God has blessed me with incredible teams. Their integrity and their partnership is what enables MTMI to go, to tell the GOOD NEWS, to bring hope to orphans and widows. How glad I am for the opportunity to introduce them to you here on the Web. For many years, I've been the only westerner working these many projects with my African team and they all see me as family and call me Mama B. what an honor , that God trusts me with His treasure, and every step of the way, His guidance has been this old woman's great joy. In my spirit, many years ago, I heard that small voice saying," how they call on whom they do not know, and how can they know unless someone tell them" I said, " I'll go, Father, I'll tell them". How greatful I am that He took me at my word. |
